All American Sports  Academy is the best softball / baseball academy in the valley in my opinion. I have a daughter that is a sophomore in high school, she is 15 years old and has been part of  the academy since she was 8 years old. Because of the Academy, Allison has grown to love and value the game of softball . Her instructors have not only taught her on  how to swing a bat or to throw a pitch or even to field a ground ball, they taught her the importance of  being a team player.   Allison is being instructed by not only the best hitting coach but  the best mentor  my daughter could ever have in Debbie Nelson. We love her.  Along with the game of softball Debbie has always enforced the fact that school comes first and getting the grades are very important.
We thought so highly of the academy we have our younger daughter, Lindsey 11 years old,  taking pitching and hitting lessons. Lindsey has been taking lessons now for 2 years. She has gone from watching her sister play, playing rec ball, and now playing travel ball and loving the game of softball..  She can"t get enough .  I really  think taking lessons and being part of her sisters lessons at AASA is making her the great player she is becoming.
Then there is myself,. I have had the privilege to work with Debbie and her staff in a couple of the academy camps. These camps have changed the way I approach coaching.  Watching Coach Debbie and her staff interact with the young girls and the positive feeling that they give to the kids made me realize  that coaching is more than just  teaching them the game of softball.    I would recommend taking lessons or going to a camp  if you have a son or a daughter that is looking to get into the sport or even a season veteran that is looking to tune up there game. You can't go wrong joining the All American Sports Academy FAMILY.

Thank You AASA!!!

Dear Parents,

My name is Kim Thomassen and I currently have 3 boys going to the All American Sports Academy. My oldest has been attending classes with Debbie for almost 5 years, our 9 year old for 3 years and our 7 year old for 2 years. Our boys have been learned and benefited from the knowledge of Debbie and her staff so much that they have become much better ball players. As parents you must realize that you cannot expect your children to go to the Academy and learn everything in a couple of lessons. As your children grow up and enter different levels of play they must also learn new techniques for that division.

Debbie and her staff are there as a means of support too. Debbie was there to get our oldest son Josh back into the batters box. When Josh was 10 he got hit in the face by a wild pitch. This devastated him to the point of quitting the game. If it had not been for Debbie and her persistence to stick by Josh's side he would have given up. She showed him how to be more alert on different pitches and how to become on the defensive side of hitting. She has been nothing but an inspiration to our whole family. Debbie and her staff are there for one purpose and that is to teach the children the proper way to play baseball and stay safe.

If you ever wanted to spend your money on something for your children and see the rewards this is the best way. When I see one of my children hit the ball it is the best feeling in the world. I don't want you to think they wont ever strike out because odds are they will. I want you to notice how much confidence they have when they enter the batters box. For those of you with smaller children you will see how their fielding improves with this class. Our 7-year-old fields and catches so much better than others just do to the Academy. I am proud to tell everyone that our children's success is due to the All American Sports Academy.

Sincerely yours,

Kim and John Thomassen

We've had as many as four children, from kindergarten to high school; with skill levels as varied as the ages, enrolled at All American Sports Academy.

We first enrolled one child at All American to help her correct a problem with her swing. We were so impressed we eventually had four children working with the coaches. Not just correcting problems, but grounding them well with proper skills, techniques, and strategies.

They are not only taught how to do something, but also develop adequate faith in themselves to believe they can do it. I believe my children are learning valuable life lessons in the process.

They learn the value of giving their best effort. Teamwork and cooperation are instilled. Good sportsmanship is emphasized. They have fun. All the while, they blossom under continual positive reinforcement.

For several weeks I tried to count how many times my children were praised, commended, etc. Positive reinforcement was continual, I could not keep track. I've quit wasting my time. I now watch my children grow.

Debbbie Nelson and her staff at All American Sports Academy have done a brilliant job with my two sons Danny 13 and Brian 10. We have been attending clinics and working with the Academy for the last 4 years.

It has been an amazing transformation seeing both boys struggle with hitting and technique as well as the mental game to become more confident and technically sound with their game. Debbie and her staff demand respect and hard work and the end results is the pride my kids take on the accomplishments they have made. You can tell the minute you walk in the facility that they run a tight ship a clean establishment, organized and structured around a strong well-rounded staff. The Academy has helped my child outside of just baseball the tools they have learned here will carry them throughout life's wins and loses. I would highly recommend the All American Sports.

Academy for any child who is serious about improving their game of baseball or softball. How encouraging to see my two sons leave the Academy smiling and they can't wait to return! Great Job -- Keep up the good work !

Thank you,

To whom it may concern,

Three of our children are students at Debbie Nelson's All American Sports Academy and have been training here for over four years. We believe that Debbie's academy provides our children with excellent skill training in an extremely positive atmosphere. Debbie has assembled a great group of talented instructors who genuinely care for their students. This is a rare and valuable thing.

There is no question that the instructors at Debbie's academy have helped our children build confidence and experience success both on and off the ball field. We feel extremely fortunate and deeply grateful to have this fine organization in our town. We have and will continue to highly recommend her organization to parents and children involved in baseball and softball.
